Police have revealed they have charged a woman in York with drink-driving – on a mobility scooter.
The incident happened on Saturday night (12 April). PC Will Leah tweeted that the police attended a report of “a drunk female driving a mobility scooter in York”.
A woman was arrested under suspicion of drug/drink driving, possession of cannabis, and failing to comply with the Coronavirus Act 2020.
The officer said “she blew 106 in custody” and was charged the following morning.
