The two men who died in a crash on Garrowby Hill at the weekend have been named by police.
They were 64-year-old Geoffrey Toase from York and Michael Midgley, 65, from Goole.
The two men died when the motorcycles they were riding were in collision with a silver VW Polo travelling along the A166 in the direction towards Fridaythorpe.
The 32-year-old driver remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Humberside Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses.
