Things are swinging in Fulford. But they’re also on the slide.
What we’re trying to say is that a new play area has opened at School Lane, Fulford, thanks to funding from Fulford Parish Council and City of York Council.
The playing field is now home to new climbing frames, a zip wire and smaller units for toddlers among other equipment.
York council invested £17K to help support the development of the new playground, matched by funding from Fulford Parish Council.
It was installed over three weeks during April.
Liberal Democrat councillor for Fulford and Heslington Keith Aspden said the new playground was fantastic, and encouraged “all local residents to get in touch with me if they have ideas of where future improvements should take place”.
