Police are hunting for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in York city centre.
It happened on Three Cranes Lane shortly before 11pm on Saturday (23 November).
The victim was sexually assaulted by a male at the end of the alley by St Sampsons Square, between the Three Cranes pub and Pizza Express.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
A 54-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
