A woman moped rider was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash in York.
The collision occurred at around 9.15pm on Thursday (October 1) at St Maurice’s Road near the Monkbar Hotel.
It involved a blue Toyota MR2 car, a white Toyota Hiace campervan and a blue Taishan moped.
The rider of the moped, a 49 year-old woman from York, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary. She remains there in a serious condition.
No further injuries were reported.

The driver of the Toyota MR2, a 27-year-old man from York, was arrested at the scene. He has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
