A motorbike rider was taken to hospital after this crash in York.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and video footage of the collision, which happened around 9.30pm on Wednesday (8 January) on Burton Stone Lane, at the junction with Garth Terrace.
A red Honda CBR 600 motorbike was travelling north on Burton Stone Lane toward Crichton Avenue and a silver Toyota Yaris was travelling south.
The two vehicles collided head on at the junction with Garth Terrace, close to the Sainsbury’s Local shop.
The woman riding the motorbike was taken to York Hospital with a minor injury and the driver of the Yaris was uninjured.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said:

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, we are appealing for any CCTV or dash cam footage which may cover the scene of the incident.
