CCTV footage has been released of potential witnesses who could hold important information after a woman was found with serious puncture wounds to her abdomen in York.
The woman was found lying on the ground on George Street near to Lead Mill Lane by a police officer at 4.34am on Saturday 3 March.
The investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, including trying to establish how the woman sustained her injuries, is ongoing.
As part of their enquiries, officers have released CCTV images of three men they are keen to trace who were walking on Piccadilly prior to the woman being found.
Officers say they may have important information that can help the investigation. The people pictured are not believed to be suspects.
