A woman needed hospital treatment after being attacked in York in the early hours of Easter Monday.
Police were called to an incident on King Street at 12.40am on Monday (April 17).
It involved a group of women. One of them, aged in her 20s, was assaulted and dragged to the ground. Her injuries required hospital treatment.
A 23-year-old woman from Scarborough was arrested on suspicion of affray and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
