York police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man.
Martin Cooke, aged 24, is wanted on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent after a Rover 25 was stolen from Grange Lane, in the Acomb area of the city on 19 November 2012.
Two local men, both aged 23, have been arrested in connection with the incident. However, despite extensive enquiries, Cooke is still being sought by the police who would like to speak to him about the offence.
Officers are appealing to anyone who can help them locate Cooke to contact them with information.
Anyone who can assist officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for York Police.
