This was the scene on a main road in York on Monday night.
A Renault van ended up on its side after crashing into two parked cars on Heslington Lane at about 9.40pm on Monday (October 8).
Police and paramedics went to the scene, along with fire crews from York and Acomb, and the brigade’s incident support unit from Tadcaster.
The van driver had managed to get out of the vehicle and was treated by paramedics for minor injuries.
The van was carrying refrigerator cylinders and these were inspected by fire crews and removed from the vehicle as a precaution by the fire service.
