A woman from York who was last seen a week ago has been found, police said this afternoon (Thursday).
The 54-year-old was reported missing on Tuesday lunchtime, and this morning police issued a public appeal to find her.
Officers said their enquiries had raised fears for her welfare.
They said she could be vulnerable as she left home without her medication, mobile phone and bank card.
Family and friends said it was out of character for her to go missing.
But this afternoon, a A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The 54-year-old woman missing from York has been located safe and well in Bridlington this afternoon (Thursday 26 May).
“Many thanks for sharing the appeal.”
