Police have ended their search for a woman seen in distress on Hob Moor in York.
Around 20 officers were involved in the search after reports of the distressed woman walking towards Windsor Garth at lunchtime on Sunday (May 7).
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said: “The woman has not been found and we have not had any further reports of a woman in distress.
“Twenty officers searched the area of Hob Moor between Thanet Road, Orchard Way and Kingsway West, however the woman was not found.
“The search is no longer active.”

Police are appealing for information to the whereabouts of a young woman seen in distress at around 1pm on Hob Moor, York.
The woman was last seen walking in the direction of Windsor Garth, towards some new build houses.
