A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a cyclist in York.
Emergency services attended the scene of the incident on Heworth Green, near the Heworth Inn and the road was closed for a number of hours closed.
Police say the pedestrian, a man in his 90s, has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary with head injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing but the NPT would like to thank the three members of the public who assisted with first aid.
