Two people have been airlifted to hospital after a serious accident involving a van and a car on the A163 between Barlby and Holme-on-Spalding Moor.
It happened just before noon (Wednesday) between Bubwith and North Duffield and police, fire and ambulances were called in.
The air ambulance made a landing on the road and fire crews helped transport one casualty from the car to the helicopter.
The road was closed in both directions for some time.
Officers are now carrying out an investigation and no further details about the accident have been released yet.
