It’s Bank Holiday weekend! Horses and homemade cart racing, fantastic Fully festival, a trail of scarecrows and laugh out loud comedy to look forward to.

‘York’s Wackiest Race’ is back! Catch the many homemade carts racing down the cobbles for the chance to take home the title. Also, look forward to live music, fairground rides, a super-car exhibit and local food and drink. Get there early for a good view!

Yorkshire Ebor Festival

This year’s Ebor Festival is halfway over. With only two days left of the most famous races of the York Racecourse season there’s all to play for.

In its fourth year, the Heworth Scarecrow Trail is a great day out for families. This year the theme is Fairy Tales, Folklore and Fables. Purchase a trail map and you’re set! Don’t forget to vote for your favourite scarecrow.
