Having workshopped his new material in the friendly confines of the Basement Bar, Chris Ramsey returns to York this week with the full show.
The South Shields stand up tried out his material for The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television at the Hyena Lounge comedy club for two nights last month.
For those who were there it was highly entertaining stuff. And he returns with the full and polished show on Sunday, November 24, this time in the much grander surroundings of the Barbican.
Chris Ramsey began his stand up career in 2007, and has since supported the likes of Russell Kane and Al Murray on their UK tours.
He has performed three solo stand up shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – his second show Offermation was nominated for the Fosters Comedy Award in 2011, and became a sell out UK tour later that year.
Telly addicts will know him from many appearances on Celebrity Juice and 8 Out of 10 Cats, and a starring role in BBC Two’s Hebburn.
His new tour jumps off with his brush with on air censorship during a live broadcast of Soccer AM to muse on life, mistakes, expectation and offence.
Judging by his Hyena Lounge appearance Chris will be well worth catching.
