Wahey!
Yippee!
Get in there!
York City beat Mansfield Town 1-0 this afternoon to make it to the play-off final, and a second Wembley appearance.
Matty Blair scored the goal in the 111th minute just as penalties seemed inevitable. He headed in from Jason Walker’s perfectly-weighted cross.
It was 0-0 at full time. Again, Mansfield’s bruisers had a man sent off, this time defender Ritchie Sutton for a second bookable offence.
City will play Luton Town in the Wembley final on Sunday, May 20 at 3pm.
