A leading Yorkshire law firm, Ison Harrison, has found that making the bold step into the city of York has proven to be a successful move, with a growing team now based at their city centre office.
The York branch, situated in the heart of historic Micklegate, was the 13th regional office within the rapidly-expanding Ison Harrison network, yet it was the legal firm’s first foray into North Yorkshire.
Combining expert legal advice with a friendly approach, the York branch has gone from strength to strength.
The Ison Harrison York office covers legal issues including residential conveyancing, wills and probate, personal injury claims and family law.
Headed by Chris Brierley, who brought with him over a decade of experience in residential property, the branch has a strong focus on residential conveyancing and commercial property.
Chris’s team has full-time assistance from Steve Gannon, who joined from the Leeds office in February and has a total of 30 years’ conveyancing experience with the company.
Ashley Mallett also joined from Leeds in April, and paralegal Annie Lofthouse brings strong knowledge of the core legal services such as residential conveyancing, family law and wills and probate.
The York team is supported on a part-time basis by Richard Scott – an expert in commercial property – and Liz Stephen, a wills and probate expert. Building on the rapid success of the York branch, new starter Hayley Ellison has also recently joined the office support team.
