What is XmasMix?

XmasMix is the Christmas radio station from YorkMix Radio and York Gin.

Throughout November and December we’ll be playing your favourite festive hits along with a wider selection of Christmas music that you might not have heard before.  We all need a bit of a pick me up this year and XmasMix brings festive cheer to brighten your day.

If you’re writing letters to Santa, putting up a tree, wrapping presents or thinking about turkey, XmasMix is the perfect soundtrack.

Whenever that festive moment comes for you, tune in and listen!

How can I tune in?

The easiest way to tune in is on your DAB+ compatible radio.  If you don’t yet have a digital radio and you’re looking to buy one ensure it is DAB+ compatible.

Our signal covers all of North Yorkshire but rather than tune in with a frequency number on a digital radio you simply select the station name from a list.  From 12th November 2020 look for XmasMix.

You may need to perform a rescan on your radio to find new stations, for further help consult your radio’s manual.

Listen online

You can also tune in online by clicking the button below. A pop-up player will open, allowing you to listen whilst your browser is open.

We also have a free app, which you can download to listen on the go.  At the moment our app is available from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and will be available in the Google Play store shortly.

Amazon Alexa

If you have an Alexa enabled device you can say “Alexa, enable the YorkMix Radio skill,” to set up playing YorkMix Radio, from then on you can say, “Alexa, play YorkMix Radio,” whenever you want to listen.
