Police name man who died in Strensall collision

York police have named the young man who died in a crash in Strensall, York, a week ago.

He was Jordan David Keith Ewer, also known as Jordan David Keith Johnson, aged 23 from York.

The collision happened at 9.20am on Monday, April 3, on Towthorpe Moor Lane near the entrance to the army barracks in Strensall.

A blue Peugeot 206 convertible was in collision with a stationary Mitsubishi Outlander.

Both occupants of the Peugeot and the driver of the Mitsubishi were taken to hospital.

Jordan was the front seat passenger of the Peugeot, and died from his injuries in Leeds General Infirmary later the same day.
