Police are investigating the sudden death of a baby in York.
The seven-month-old baby died on November 3 at a property in Melrosegate.
Detectives are currently running a joint investigation with South Yorkshire Trading Standards involving a company called Playtime Beds UK Ltd.
A 35-year-old man from Rotherham has been interviewed under caution and is assisting police with their ongoing enquiries.
Police are appealing to customers of Playtime Beds UK Ltd to contact the York Serious Crime team if they have any safety concerns, or if a child has suffered an injury in relation to a purchased bed.

‘Stop using the bed’
The company that makes the beds under investigation has, according to a statement on its website, ceased trading but its owners “are working with Sheffield City Council’s Trading Standards Department regarding safety concerns in relation to various hazards, associated with particular bespoke products, that the business has manufactured and supplied”.
Playtime Beds Limited was founded in March 2015. Prior to that the products were supplied by Craig Williams trading as Playtime Beds using Facebook and eBay since 2011.
