There was a large emergency service response to an incident near Selby Fire Station this afternoon (Friday).
Several police cars and two road ambulances responded to the incident on Canal Road.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was also scrambled to the scene.
YorkMix understands it was a medical emergency.
Selby firefighters and staff at KwikFit next door were involved in the immediate response.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter landed in Selby Park.



A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “Ambulance resources, including an air ambulance, responded to a medical incident on Canal Road, Selby just after midday on Friday.
“No further details are available.”
