Police appeal for witnesses to incident in Acomb involving children

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about an incident involving children that occurred in Acomb, York.

It happened at the corner of Front Street and Green Lane at about 11.35am on Wednesday (November 9), and continued down Green Lane to the bus stop outside the Gateway Church.

It involved a man with a three-year-old child and another man with a woman pushing a baby in a pushchair. The police say words were exchanged in a confrontation.

Officers are appealing for information about the actions of the man with the three-year-old child and what was said by both men.
