York City are Wembley winners again!

After a tumultuous season, City gave their 7,000 travelling fans something to cheer about by bringing home the FA Trophy.

They beat Macclesfield Town 3-2 in an exciting final, with Aidan Connolly netting the winner with only four minutes of normal time left.

Manager Gary Mills described the final as the first game of the new season, after City were relegated to National League North.

In those terms they’re off to a great start, with Jon Parkin and Vadaine Oliver scoring City’s two other goals.

Here’s the memories in pix and videos.
