Pedestrian hurt after collision with car in York

A man was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in York

The accident happened at about 5.50pm on Monday, January 18 on Elvington Lane, York.

A silver Lexus car collided with a male pedestrian, leaving him with leg injuries. He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

At the time of the collision, both the pedestrian and the car were travelling towards Elvington, between the Grimston Bar roundabout and York Maze.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw either the pedestrian or the car prior to the collision to get in touch.
