Nowhere looks prettier in the snow than York, as your pictures show.
Saturday’s snowfall made driving difficult. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service attended crashes at Thorpe Willoughby, Fylingdales Moor, Gargrave, South Milford and Blubberhouses.
City of York Council snowploughs and gritters were much in evidence.
Today grown-ups and children headed out to make the most of the white stuff. There was sledging on Knavesmire, at the university and in Museum Gardens.
