A man was seriously hurt after being attacked by three people.
The 31-year-old man was violently assaulted near Burdyke Avenue in York at about 3.30am on Sunday (17 March).
The attack took place as the man was cycling near to Burdyke Avenue in Clifton. Police say the offenders are believed to be a group of two men and one woman all aged under 30.
The victim was treated at hospital with a fractured cheekbone and serious wounds to the back of his head which required staples.
