Thieves stole a 72-year-old woman’s handbag as she shopped in Marks and Spencer.
Now police have released images of two people they want to speak to following the theft from her trolley in the store on Pavement, York.
At 2pm on Saturday June 30, the man and woman pictured were captured by CCTV cameras entering the store and walking around the aisles.
At 2.45pm the victim was seen at the meat and fish counter, when it is believed she was approached and her handbag taken from her trolley.
The man and woman were then seen to leave the store at 2.50pm.
Police would like to identify and speak to the two people pictured, as they may hold information which could assist the investigation.
