A teenager was taken to hospital after an incident in New Earswick.
Police were called to Willow Bank, New Earswick, at around 8.50am this morning (Tuesday, 5 February) following a concern for the safety of a teenage boy at the location.
Ambulance crews were also called to the incident.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed close to Joseph Rowntree School.
The road was closed off for a time and officers were seen searching the grass next to the River Foss.
