A man has been attacked as he waited to use a cash machine in York city centre.
The man was at the Rougier Street ATM at about 12.40am on Saturday (February 10) when he was punched in the face by another man.
He was left with what police described as “significant injuries”.
The victim was taken to York Hospital where he was treated for a broken nose, broken cheekbone and two broken teeth.
North Yorkshire Police has issued this description of his attacker.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or can help identify the suspect to contact them.
