New shop opens in York Designer Outlet

A new shop has opened at York Designer Outlet – and it’s just the job for anyone who’s a class act in the kitchen.

German kitchenware specialists Zwilling has opened a 662 square foot store, creating five new jobs.

Known for manufacturing some of the world’s best kitchen knives in Germany since 1731, J A Henckels – the name behind Zwilling – uses advanced design and manufacturing to make knives that are used by professional chefs all over the world.

Also on sale will be a range of stainless steel cookware, frying pans, kitchen gadgets, tools and scissors, Japanese knives from Miyabi and French cast iron cookware from Staub in a rainbow of colours.

Also stocked in store will be Belgian brand Demeyere, a world-leader in technologically advanced cookware as well as Italian-made, non-stick frying pans from Ballarini.

York Designer Outlet manager Mike Thomas said:

We’re always thrilled to add an exciting new name to the centre’s family of brands and the addition of Zwilling’s first standalone store in the North of England is a real coup.

There will be a range of offers in store to mark the opening, including a 68 piece BSF dinner set available for £99.95 (RRP £349) and a FourStar 11 eight piece knife block set down from £339 to £199.

Customers can also enter a prize draw to win a set of steak knives, worth £179.
