If you want to see works by up and coming artistic talent, be sure to catch the Bricoleur exhibition which runs till Monday (December 8).
Third year fine art students from York St John University will be revealing a new and dynamic display of artwork in the free exhibition.
Bricoleur are artists who engage in bricolage, a technique where works are constructed from various materials available or on hand.
The students’ work will demonstrate the use of a diverse range of media, from painting to digital.
Among the thought-provoking themes explored are the ephemerality of life, body image and identity.
This is the second exhibition these Fine Art students have held at Artemis House in the Salt & Powell space.
At the end of 2013 they held a contemporary arts show, New Glue, which gave a glimpse into their talents and artistic identities before the many months of developing and refining their art.
This event is open to the public and there will also be opportunities to meet the artists involved.
