A man had to go to hospital after being assaulted on a York balcony.
The incident happened at around 11pm on Friday (30 August) on a balcony of a property on Walmgate.
The victim was assaulted by another man, and sustained cuts to his face. He was discharged from hospital after treatment.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information. A spokeswoman for the force said:

In particular we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
