As things stand, York City’s National League North game against Altrincham tomorrow is going ahead.

But the situation might change.

Earlier today, the Premier League, the Football League and the Women’s Super League suspended all their matches until the weekend of 3-5 April.

And UEFA suspended the Champions League and Europa League fixtures.

Now the National League board are said to be meeting to decide what to do. The Non-League Paper is reporting that they are considering suspending the league campaigns.

In a post at lunchtime on Friday, York City said “unless there is an 11th hour instruction from the FA and/or the National League regarding the coronavirus issue, our home game against Altrincham tomorrow will take place as scheduled”.
