Saturday update: One more coronavirus death in NHS Trust, 45 more cases in York
There was one more coronavirus-related death reported at the York NHS Trust today (Saturday, 14 November).
There were also 45 more confirmed Covid-19 cases in York.
This takes the cumulative total to 4,453 – giving an overall infection rate of 2,114.3 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days there have been 355 positive Covid-19 tests in York – which is down by 38 (-9.7%).
The provisional rate for the last seven days is 168.55 new coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in York, as at 11 November. The latest validated rate is 170 in the seven days to 8 November.

In North Yorkshire, there were 250 new confirmed Covid-19 cases today, taking the cumulative total to 11,566 – an infection rate of 1,871.4 cases per 100K.
There are 620 cases in Ryedale (up 18), 1,738 in Selby (up 28), 3,300 in Harrogate (up 53), 1,538 in Hambleton (up 31), 2,313 in Scarborough (up 80), 922 in Richmondshire (up 19) and 1,135 in Craven (up 21).
There was one more coronavirus-related death reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust today. On weekends, we can’t check whether it was at York or Scarborough.
That takes the total to 254. We don’t have an up-to-date breakdown of that figure between York and Scarborough Hospitals.
