The latest event to be postponed is Pregnant Then Screwed: Live at York Theatre Royal.

Described as the UK festival of motherhood and work, it was due to run from 9.30am-4.30pm on Sunday (15 March).

In a statement, organisers Joeli and Sarah said they had been monitoring the spread of Covid-19 and have been in daily talks with the Theatre Royal.

They said:

  • It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to postpone Sunday’s event. It’s not a decision we have taken lightly but we have to consider that our event has a bespoke audience made up largely of new mums, parents with small children and pregnant women.

It was also due to be our first event in Yorkshire; we’ve been overwhelmed by the warm response to our brilliant line-up of speakers and a cracking programme that included 24 local employers who were committed to helping parents return to work.

We are hugely disappointed that we can not proceed with the event and we know you will be too.

They are in talks with York Theatre Royal about staging the event in September or October.
