Say it with chocolates
York’s Chocolate Story, 3-4 Kings Square, York YO1 7LD
York’s Chocolate Story website
For those who are riding solo this February 14th, York’s Chocolate Story has created a range of perfect products.
Slogans such as “My number is 0 7 No-No-No” and “I’m not yours; you’re not mine” adorn slabs of chocolate in celebration of all things anti-Valentine’s.
The sweet treats will be available in York’s Chocolate Story’s shop for a very limited time. If you ask nicely, the might even pipe you a custom message!
Get the Dungeon to do your dumping
For those stuck in loveless relationships, or who are looking for a reason to save money, Valentine’s Day can be seen as an unnecessary burden, and a highly commercialised holiday.
Staff at the York Dungeon are here to help and will dump your partner on your behalf. To use their completely free service, users simply have to fill in an online form with their name, partner’s name and the city or town they live in.
A video will then be uploaded to The York Dungeon’s Facebook page, where the Black Jester will address those who are being dumped. (To save public embarrassment, only the first names of those involved will be used.)
