If you’ve ever caught your child pulling a funny face, don’t worry – they’re all at it.

Hundreds of children from 40 York primary schools have grinned, gurned and gone boss-eyed on a video raising money for Comic Relief.

And now the film has been shared more than 17,000 people on social media.

The project was coordinated by John Hattam, the community outreach worker at Clifton Green Primary School. He introduces the video.

It even includes cameos by some very famous York funny faces.

Melrose Yard Studios off Walmgate kindly offered to let school children record their own version of the official schools Comic Relief song as a soundtrack.

Mr Hattam said the aim is to raise £2,000 for Comic Relief – which takes place on Friday (March 13).

They are already halfway there – but would love you to add a donation at their their Just Giving page.
