York City has unveiled their new shirt sponsor. The club has struck a deal with Go Store Self Storage.
The partnership will see York’s new purpose-built self storage facility adorn the back of the Minstermen’s first team shirts and become a primary sponsor of the club, with the deal lasting a minimum of two years.
Go Store will open for business in Monks Cross in the next few weeks. You can find the self storage facility on Monks Cross Drive between McDonald’s and Taco Bell, by the Monks Cross Shopping Park.
Go Store offers private storage rooms from the size of a telephone box to a tennis court.
Extremely proud
Director and co-owner of Go Store Self Storage Ltd Rory Windham said they were looking to increase market awareness, adding:
-
We are extremely proud to be in a position to support the local football club and soon-to-be neighbour at Monks Cross.
We hope York City can continue their successful start to the season.
Commercial manager at York City Chris Pegg said: “New to York, Go Store is an ambitious, customer-orientated business with a fantastic team behind it and we are very much looking forward to a successful partnership, working on a number of engaging initiatives together.”
The Go Store logo will feature on the matchday shirts worn by the Minstermen, and although the replica kits (which can be purchased in-store and online) won’t feature the decal, there will be an opportunity for fans to get the Go Store branding printed onto their shirts in the coming weeks.
