**Warning: Videos contains full frontal nudity**
And it was that full frontal nudity that one spectator wanted to see more of.
David Dunning was videoing in St Helen’s Square for Minster FM when he caught a woman in Bettys Tearooms who was people watching.
She asks a man to get out of the way because he’s obscuring the view… of York’s naked cyclists.
The bikers were taking part in the York World Naked Bike ride. It’s an annual “protest against oil dependency and car culture and a celebration of cycling and the power and individuality of our bodies”.
It was the 12th such event in York – one of many in cities around the world – and the cyclists rode from Millennium Bridge, into the city centre and back out again.
What the video captures was the event’s “die in”, making a serious point about the vulnerability of cyclists on the roads.
