Police at the scene on Monday

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, who were arrested earlier in connection with the same incident have been released on police bail while the investigation continues.

The drama unfolded at about 12.45pm on Monday. Witnesses heard bangs and saw people running away from a property on Leeman Road near the junction with Phoenix Boulevard.

A  blank shell casing – ammunition without a bullet – was recovered nearby.

Police are not saying if the victim has been shot.
