Firefighters remove car roof to rescue women after York crash

Two women were hurt in a road accident in York.

Emergency services were called out to a two-vehicle collision at Clifton Moor at 10.32pm on Tuesday night (December 4).

Fire crews from Huntington and Acomb went to the scene.

They removed the car roof to extricate two women casualties who were left in the care of paramedics.
