An eight week old kitten, who became stuck in a car engine, has been freed by firefighters from the York area.

Air bags and small tools were used to release him from under the bonnet and he was unharmed.

It’s thought the little fella, who got stuck inside the car in Easingwold this afternoon (Sunday), is a stray but North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say he now has a number of options for a new home.
