Tue, October 13 @ 5.00 pm 6.00 pm

The 2020 American presidential election is now properly underway, as Joe Biden (who served as Barack Obama’s Vice-President) seeks to defeat Donald Trump in November.

Join members of the American Studies, History and War Studies team at York St John University, who will locate the current presidential election within a historical context. Discussions will draw up the elections of Ronald Reagan, Lyndon Johnson, Franklin Roosevelt – and more!

Short lectures from Dr James Cooper, Dr Ian Horwood and Dr Chris Price will be followed by a wider discussion with the audience about the 2020 election.
