Back by popular demand, the Yorkshire 10 Mile will return to York this October – and the race is now open for entries.

The ten-miler returns as part of the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon Festival, which also includes a full marathon and a team relay.
It is the fifth year of the Marathon Festival, bringing thousands of runners from across the region, the UK and overseas.
Starting and finishing at the University of York, the Plusnet Yorkshire 10 Mile takes in a section of the 26.2 mile marathon course.
Fantastic atmosphere
Event manager Lynne Preston said: “There is always a fantastic atmosphere on marathon race day and the ten-mile run gives even more people the opportunity to be involved.”
People taking part in the Plusnet Yorkshire 10 Mile can raise money for a good cause of their own choice or for one of the event’s partner charities which are
