Scrooge, as played by Chris Cade, is back at the museum to perform his his immersive one man family show of the Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol.
It’s one of a number of festive treats in store for visitors. You can find out how Christmas was celebrated in Victorian times, and meet the big man in the red suit.
“Kirkgate has been decorated with festive garlands and a twinkling Christmas tree and the shops have been filled with traditional goods from over one hundred years ago,” said learning manager Lucy Knock.
“Visitors can also take part in our special Christmas trail where they can join in with festive activities that lead to an unforgettable visit to Father Christmas.”
