Count Fectionary is on the prowl – and you can join him. He is hosting a walking tour from York’s Chocolate Story around the city telling tales of ghastly sweets, including KitBat, Terry’s All Ghould and Rowntree’s Fright Pastilles. The tours start on Saturday and runs every 1pm, 3pm and 5pm until November 5. More here

Future Engineers at the NRM

Returning to the National Railway Museum for a second year, Future Engineers lets you get hands-on with rail tech. There’s a rapper who blends science with hip-hop, a show about tunnels and loads more family fun, all for free. Starts on Saturday and runs till Nov 5 – more here

‘Oh Wise Owl’ art trail
