Another global brand has closed its York shop.

York’s Disney Store is closed for the duration of the coronavirus outbreak, in line with the company’s new policy.

A notice has appeared on the window of the Parliament Street store saying:

  • To ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff, Disney Stores across the UK have been temporarily closed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our products will continue to be available on the website www.shopDisney.co.uk

The company, based in California, announced today (Monday) that it was closing all its US shops and Walt Disney World Resort hotels over the pandemic.

This follows the closure of Urban Outfitters for broadly the same reasons.
