The Civic Party will today (25 January) be visiting the Yorkshire Soap Company on Blake Street, York who are donating gifts for the Lord Mayor’s Ball.
The Yorkshire Soap Company is one of the local businesses that are supporting the Lord Mayor’s ball, a fundraising ball to raise money for the Lord Mayor’s charities.
The Lord Mayor of York, Cllr Keith Hyman, said: “Local businesses across the city have been extremely generous in supporting the event, through ticket sales and also through donating prizes for the night. I’m looking forward to meeting with the Yorkshire Soap Company to thank them for their contributions.”
The Civic Party will be meeting with Jane, manager at the Blake Street store and Warren, co-owner of the Yorkshire Soap Company.
The Lord Mayors ball is being held on 9 February; tickets are still available and are priced at £50 each.
