CCTV image released after ‘altercation’ in rush hour traffic left woman with leg injuries

Police investigating an altercation in the middle of a busy York road have released a CCTV image of another man they would like to speak to.

The man pictured was using the pedestrian crossing on Bridge Street when the altercation took place with the driver of a red Mini Cooper.

The Mini driver was hit in the leg by her car door, causing bruising.

The incident happened just before 5.30pm on Thursday, November 30.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured by CCTV, or anyone who was in the area at the time who witnessed the incident.

It is the second CCTV appeal on this incident.
